CSU Representatives in WASH Cluster Meetings

On 13 April 2018, the Acting DG Mr Mangawai nominated HRM and Acting Director DOL- Mr Gambetta to attend WASH cluster meetings in regards to Ambae Emergency Response plans.

HRM and Project Officer attend M&E workshop

On 12 April 2018, HRM and Jeff attended Monitoring and Evaluation workshop conducted by the DSSPAC.

This workshop covered the NSDP 2016-2030 and how Ministries progressed yearly via reports to DSSPAC.

MOLNR completed Annual Development Report (ADR) for 2016 and 2017.

 

ITC Training in house

The ICT section produced a second volume of its training manual this year.

At the end of October 2017, the ICT team started a two-week internal training on ICT. The ICT Section, once again, finds it necessary to train officers from the Department of Land, Water, Geology / Mines and the Office of the Valuer General to assist them in some of the basics IT issues that they will daily encounter in their working places.

Contract Staffs Farewell

On Friday 27 October 2017; Department of Lands & CSU staffs did farewell to three of their staffs which their contract has been ended this month: Mrs Saul, Mr Balmet and Mr Rezel. They joined the Lands departments last year as Scanner and Data entry officers.

The farewell ceremony was witnessed by the A/DoL, the Senior Lease officer, the Senior Planning officer and lands staffs.  The A/DoL and the senior officers encouraged the three officers to continue to pursue their dreams and to continue to look for other jobs in other ministries and companies. “When one door closes; another door opens” said the senior Planning officer. As their work comes to an end, the department of lands and CSU team wishes them all the best in their future endeavors.

Farewell FM Mahit Kalourai (11/08/2017)

On August 11, 2017, MOLNR staffs said goodbye to Mr. Mahit Kalourai who served the government for a very long period and joined the CSU team as their Finance Manager . He helped the Corporate Service Unit to monitor and evaluate the financial progress made in the Land, Water and Geology & Mine Departments. We thank him for the efforts and hard work he has provided during his years of service in government. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Farewell IT Manager William Ganileo (13/09/2017)

On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, the ICT Section said goodbye to Mr. William Ganileo who was their manager for several years. Before that he worked as a GIS agent in the Land Department. The ICT team had the chance to work with Mr William who was a good manager. The ICT Team wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
