MISSION
VISION
To have a unit that is efficient and effective, provide satisfactory and service to the public. To ensure all land owners, lease owners, interested parties to understand and follow the rules, guidelines and laws relating to land. To have a unit that runs and supports the department of lands, Registry and survey.
OBJECTIVE

The Planning and Enforcement Unit deals mainly with the two main core activities;

  • Application for Negotiator Certificate in Rural areas, application for lease in urban areas, application for a change of lease class in both rural and Urban area and application for subdivision The Unit works in collaboration with the Chairman of the Land Management and Planning Committees to organize meetings to scrutinize and approved or refuse applications.
  • Enforcement of Registered Leases by the Director of Lands, Survey and Records.This unit enforces lease rules/conditions and assists in general enforcement Matters. Core activities include Rent Collection, dealing with complaints from clients and writing up reports, prepare and service forfeiture notice, serious and normal remainder notice.
