The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources delivers development projects with support from Vanuatu's development partners. These projects invest in safer settlements, better infrastructure and stronger land administration for the people of Vanuatu.
For each project you will find what it aims to achieve, its environmental and social safeguards documents, and how to contact the project team. Documents are published here in line with each development partner's disclosure requirements, so that communities and the public can see how risks are being managed.

Vanuatu Affordable and Resilient Settlements (VARS) Project
The VARS Project aims to improve access to, and the resilience of, infrastructure and services in selected new and existing settlements, and to strengthen land planning and management for resilient human settlement in Greater Port Vila.
